Shirley Jane Temple was born on 4/23/1928 In Santa Monica California.She is famous for her work and movies like Kid's Last Stand The Kid's Last Fight American Creed Glad Rags to Riches Polly Tix in Washington Now I will Tell Baby Take a Bow And her best work,Her breakthrough performance,Bright Eyes A musical comedy.Shirley temple Was a American Ambassador.But life wasn't simple.Shirley was the first person to ever on TV Admit to have Brest Cancer.She survived.Today Shirley is 79 years old.On 4/23/2008,She will be 80!!!!

I am doing a project at school for National History Day. What is the main legacy Shirley Temple has left us? I need a 500 word essay!
During the Great Depression many people went to the movie theaters to get away from all the troubles. A lot of the movies they saw was with Shirley Temple. I guess you could say that her legacy was an image that helped rebuild our nation by finding the happiness out of the dark times. Hope this helps!
